At the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals Annual Global Conference, Acuitive Solutions in collaboration with The Ralph Lauren Corporation placed third among the top 6 finalists in the Supply Chain Innovation Award competition.

Acuitive and Ralph Lauren were recognized for creating the world’s first and only international inbound transportation management portal.

Acuitive Solutions shared first place honors with Century Distribution Systems and retailer Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts Stores in World Trade 100’s and SMC³’s inaugural Alliance Award competition.

Acuitive provided a single-source advanced audit portal function that was integrated into Century’s VMS (Visibility Management System) ®. This provided Jo-Ann Stores a transparent and accurate prepayment audit solution.

Apparel Magazine awarded Acuitive Solutions their prestigious “Top Innovator Partner“ Award for our work with Ralph Lauren Corp.

Acuitive developed a dynamic 24/7 inbound vendor routing portal for international air freight for The Ralph Lauren Corp.

This first of it’s kind portal provided an electronic inbound planning, execution and control hub where shipments are dynamically routed replacing the traditional static paper routing guide. Prior to this innovation a shipper did not have the ability to dynamically align an expedited service level with the needs of their inbound merchandise. This innovation saves RLC in excess of a million dollars annually.

Acuitive Solutions and its client, leading retailer Jo-Ann Stores, Inc. in partnership with Century Distribution Services won the top honor in the Best Collaborative Practice category at WTG’s 2011 Supply Chain Distinction award competition.

Yossi Sheffi, Director of MIT’s Engineering Systems Division and the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics, who led a prestigious panel of judges in the selection process, commented “The Acuitive entry stood out due to the complexity and mitigation backed up with specific results that produced a seamless, transparent and highly accurate automated prepayment audit process that significantly improved operations due to greater shipping and delivery certainty.”
